Speech & Language Therapy Services For Families in Singapore
Evidence based, child-first therapy
Our Philosophy
Our approach is grounded in the belief that communication is about connection, not perfection. We take the time to understand each child’s unique profile, building therapy around their strengths, interests, and natural ways of engaging with the world.
Therapy with Milestones is playful, relationship-based, and deeply informed by research. We use a range of evidence-based tools and approaches to meet children where they are and support their growth in meaningful, respectful ways.
Meet the team
Bronwyn Miles is the founder of Milestones Therapy and a highly experienced speech therapist who has been working with children and families across Asia for over 10 years. With senior roles in both private practice and school settings in Singapore and Beijing, she brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and a warm, collaborative approach to helping children thrive.
Bronwyn supports children with a wide range of speech and language differences, many of which may be linked to neurodevelopmental profiles such as autism, ADHD, or genetic syndromes. Her therapy is holistic and evidence-based, tailored to each child’s strengths, needs, and natural way of engaging with the world.
She draws from a broad toolkit of approaches, including:
Hanen™ programs
Gestalt Language Processing
DIR/Floortime
Visualising and Verbalising
Social Thinking
And others
Bronwyn brings together language support with a deep understanding of sensory and emotional regulation, and is a qualified sensory integration practitioner. She recognises that children need to feel calm, connected, and physically at ease before they can confidently communicate. In her sessions, it’s common to see children bouncing on therapy balls, swinging, or exploring their environment, because movement and sensory input often open the door to meaningful interaction.
Her sessions are engaging, child-led, and grounded in the belief that therapy should feel safe, joyful, and empowering. Bronwyn believes that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. She aims to help children become confident communicators and the best they can be.

We offer comprehensive, standardised speech and language evaluations designed to understand how your child communicates, connects, and learns. Assessments include a detailed written report and personalised recommendations, with a focus on strengths, not just challenges. Whether you’re seeking a diagnosis, updating school reports, or simply want clarity, assessments are an important piece of your child’s profile.

Therapy sessions are tailored to each child’s goals, interests, and learning style. We integrate evidence-based practices with relationship-based strategies to support communication, regulation, and connection. Therapy can take place in your home, at your child’s school, or in a clinic environment, depending on what works best for your family. Sessions are playful, purposeful, and focused on helping your child grow into a confident communicator.

We offer engaging, practical workshops and training sessions for teachers, learning support staff, and parent communities. Topics include language development, sensory processing, classroom communication strategies, and more. All sessions are designed to be accessible, relevant, and grounded in current research — with a strong focus on inclusion and real-world application.

What to expect
Starting therapy can feel like a big step - and we’re here to make it a smooth, supportive experience from the very beginning.
1. Contact & Intake Form
Once you reach out, we’ll send you an intake form to gather some background information about your child. This includes a few case history questions to help us understand your child’s communication profile, strengths, and any areas of concern. If you have any previous reports from other professionals (e.g. speech therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists), we encourage you to share them.
2. Initial Consultation
Our first meeting is usually held in your home, where your child is most comfortable. This session is all about getting to know your family, building connection, and starting to collaboratively set meaningful goals. Depending on your child and their needs, the consultation may include informal observation or assessment, or it may simply be a conversation with parents or caregivers.
3. Planning the Next Steps
After the initial consult, we’ll discuss what support might be most helpful for your child - whether that’s ongoing therapy, further assessment, or liaising with schools or other professionals. We’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your child, your goals, and your family.
Testimonials
FAQs
What ages do you work with?
Milestones Therapy supports infants, toddlers, children and young adults from birth to high school age. If you're unsure whether your child’s age or needs are the right fit, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to advise.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to get started. If your child has already seen other professionals (e.g. a paediatrician, psychologist, or occupational therapist), we’re happy to review any existing reports to better understand your child’s needs.
Where do your sessions take place?
We offer therapy sessions in your home, at your child’s school, or at a clinic - whichever environment suits your child best. Some children do well in structured clinic settings, while others feel more at ease in familiar spaces. We’ll work with you to find the right fit.
How long will my child need therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some families seek short-term support for a specific concern; others benefit from longer-term, ongoing therapy. After the initial consult, we’ll discuss a plan that suits your goals, your child’s needs, and your family’s routine.
I’m not sure if my child needs therapy - can we chat?
Absolutely. We know that taking the first step can feel overwhelming, and we’re here to help you figure out what’s right for your child. If you're unsure, feel free to get in touch - there’s no pressure or commitment.
What happens during the initial consultation?
The first session is usually held in your home, where your child is most comfortable. It’s a chance to get to know your family, gather background information, and begin setting collaborative goals. This may include informal observations or assessment activities with your child, or a conversation with you as parents — or both.
